I agree. But I also believe that people hold on to their hate and anger because otherwise they would have to face their pain.
I agree. Another rationale: Back when we sponsored Russian Jewish immigrants several oldsters among them intimated to ua that they stayed alive in order to keep hating some of the others in their family that we had also sponsored; hate dating back years in Russia. When they died no one would be left to keep up the hate.
