Orders actions counter to our population’s
Health, well-being and a healthy nation
I think it can’t get worse

Trump canceled TPP and climate-change accords
The nuclear Iran agreement Trump destroyed
And safety practices no longer need employed
It makes me want to curse

Trump’s treatment of our would-be immigrants
Who seek asylum from their country’s miscreants
As though sub-human, nasty deviants
My criticism’s terse

Trump’s latest edict sentencing sick kids in beds
On medical deferment to their certain death
That they must leave their hospitals and soon be dead
It leaves me without words

It’s the economy that most commands the vote
That is what politicians know by rote
To Trump it is his last remaining hope
To win this next election

With hints of economic slowdown taking place
The China trade war’s escalating pace
Inverted bond yields signaling to brace
For possible recession

The past ten years have seen unparalleled expansion
Spurred on by Q.E.D. and tax retraction
That benefitted most a smallish fraction
Of our population

These monetary handouts to the nation’s wealthy
Created the illusion the economy is healthy
Consumer confidence is high, a feeling that we’re home free
All ripe for exploitation

In spite of Fed’s propensity for fiscal stimulations
Or tuning the economy by rate manipulations
Eventually the market wins correcting the distortions –
Economy deflation

There’s little doubt that this will happen. When? That is the question
It could be soon or could take months, with efforts of deflection
No matter what, it’s timing will influence the election
And world reaction

There’s something of a mental disconnect
To see the nation’s chosen President
Display gross ignorance and disrespect
In claiming to be “chosen king of Jews”

Both Jews and Christians he affronts alike
To be the second coming of the Christ
To be the Jew’s Messiah in plain sight
It shows the loosening of mental screws

The Trump is under multiple attacks
From courts and Congress and from media hacks
All based on scandals, recent ones and past
Each day another scandal in the news

Erratic Trump behavior now is norm
Creating flurries of political storm
Where no one knows what crazy thoughts he’ll form
To foist upon the world with Twitter views

It’s time to act, to take the reins in hand
Expose Trump’s lawlessness throughout the land
Through open hearings from the witness stand
Ensuring, twenty-twenty, Trump will lose

Disloyalty, an attribute of Jews who cast their votes as Dems
House Democrats hate Israel and also hate all Jews
Just look at Omar and Tlaib, their slurs on cable news
This racial diatribe from Trump’s gut-sense extends

Disloyalty to whom, I ask?
Jews of America may Israel love
But put America above
With loyalty; that is a fact

Trump’s statements demonstrate disdain of Jews
That they would favor Trump because of Israel
But nine and seventy percent of Jews, I’ll tell
All voted Democrat so Trump would lose

And sing his praises in the streets
Back home Trump’s facing soon defeat
With Jewish votes to bring him down

To promulgate boycotts and to have their say
The BDS movement is nobody’s prank

Boycott all Israeli until they fulfill
These four obligations they claim are derived
From Law International, say what you will
With arguments, legal appearing contrived

End occupation of Palestine land
Remove all the barriers of separation
Give Israel’s Arabs full rights where they stand
Promote Palestinian repatriation

This BDS push is not my cup of tea
Nevertheless, it’s their right I support
To say their opinions what ever they be
For Trump it’s his reason their trip to abort

Shame, shame on the Donald for pressuring Bibi
For shame Natanyahu succumbing to Trump
You, now are Trump’s vassal, the whole world to see
And shame on Republicans not speaking up

As new freshman Congressmen it’s quite a feat

Of what, for a President’s proper to do

To physically act against his enemies

Who’s claiming immunity; Trump’s total ban
Against all subpoenas. It’s clearly a farce

Impede and delay, that’s all that Trump does
Extending the hearings well into next year
Coinciding with Primaries; too much, I fear
Plus Trump’s wild divergences; people will close

To much that is happening, news overload
Trump won’t be impeached; there won’t be enough time
Mr. Public’s not there, ignorance reigns sublime
I can’t say, for elections, what all this might bode

The scare theme for Donald Trump’s prexy campaign
Is no longer caravans crossing our borders
Instead it’s “invasion” against law and order
By brown-skinned Latinos who Donald defames

It matches the speech of white-national groups
Except that they add to their hatred-filled theory
The funds for invasion all come from world Jewry
Their goal’s to replace them, a Jew- plotted coup

The old KKK has been revitalized
It’s now white supremacy blatant and bare
With domestic violence as their daily fare
And egged on by rhetoric Trump actualized

Dayton, El Paso, some thirty one killed
With weapons of warfare so easily obtained
In twenty-five seconds some nine people slain
We grieve with the mourners, our hearts heavy still

This domestic terror, it’s just the beginning
The Senate’s inaction, McConnell’s to blame,
The President’s speeches with words that inflame
Portends the near future, more terror, more killings

Pres. Trump is the Donald, no way will he change
The Senate Republicans, cowards they be
Clinging to Trump, hoping for victory
Massacres are okay keeping winning in range

It all boils down to campaign twenty twenty
The Dems must win everything up, down the ballot,
Must counter fear mongering or face the fallout
Of dictator Trump with white-nationals plenty

More news is abundant, not being redundant,
But I’d rather focus about
Debates by our candidates, really how they relate –
O’Donnell was first to point out

The questions asked of them by channel-news pundits
Have little to do with the task
Of being the President with counselors resident
Specialist whom he can ask

‘Though Lawrence, correct is he, somewhat I disagree
Candidates need to be tested
Where strengths and where weakness be, open for all to see
To choose one who will not be bested

Debating candidates challenge the posing
Of records and policy points
But once someone’s chosen all ranks will be closing
Supporting that one, all will join
