Yes, he done did it!  The Republican “establishment” hasn’t yet come to terms with all the implications of their new presumptive nominee.  Meanwhile, the Democrats jumping with glee.  My own opinion is that it isn’t going to be so easy.

Trumpledee nominee                                                                                       Heads now the G O P                                                                                        President, he would be                                                                                      People beware

Trumple trumped everyone                                                                             Most delegates, he’s won                                                                                 Fantastic, what he’s done                                                                                   Reps in despair

Racism spouted he                                                                                           Sexism shouted he                                                                                             A xenophobe is he                                                                                               His sheep don’t care

Trumpledee president?                                                                                       Hard to imagine, yet                                                                                        It could be what we get                                                                                     If we don’t care

Active, now’s time to be                                                                                       Work, Dems, for victory                                                                                 Don’t let this travesty                                                                                       Be ours to bear

Vote, then for Hillary                                                                                           POTUS, her time to be                                                                                      Winning o’re Trumpledee                                                                                 Now’s time to care

I personally handed this poem to President Bill Clinton after his speech at a rally in Tucson while he was glad-handing the crowd.  No, I never heard back from him.

Grasping competitors

Wringing Republican

Hands in despair

Who will suck up to him?

Who can stand up to him?

Who’ll take the dare?

Someone whose head’s on right

Willing to set things right
